Investigation of tool-workpiece contact rate and milling force in elliptical ultrasonic vibration-assisted milling

چکیده
Elliptical ultrasonic vibration-assisted milling (EUVAM) is widely used as an efficient processing method for hard-to-machining materials such titanium alloy, superalloy, and hard-brittle materials. To uncover the mechanism of intermittent cutting characteristics in EUVAM, tool-workpiece contact rate model developed by combining with kinematic relationship between tool edge workpiece process. According to analysis model, phenomenon that increases rapidly time-varying tooth position angle one-dimensional vibration assisted can be improved EUVAM. In addition, considering variation window function undeformed thickness, a force established. And experiment EUVAM performed verify force, influence process parameters (amplitude, speed, feed depth) on also analyzed.
